It looks cosy. It is not cosy. Meet Anxietea — a little cup of tea visibly holding itself together by a single thread, which is to say, one of us. The most relatable beverage ever put on a t-shirt.
The joke, decoded
Anxiety → Anxietea. One letter turns a warm, comforting cuppa into a tiny portrait of quiet panic. The tea bag's string becomes the thread you're barely hanging on by. Cosy on the outside, unravelling on the inside.
Steeped in comfort. Also just steeped in dread.
It's the softer sibling of full-blown Anxiety — gentler, warmer, but no less honest. The tee for people who cope with a hot drink and a nervous laugh, who look calm while the inner kettle quietly screams.
Why cosy-anxious is a whole mood
Not all anxiety is loud — a lot of it hides behind a warm mug and an "I'm fine." Anxietea captures that specific softness: coping quietly, sweetly, one hot drink at a time. It's comforting to see your low-key spiral drawn as something this gentle.
"Warm. Comforting. Mildly falling apart. 10/10."
— a cup of tea, copingThe design philosophy
One-letter pun, maximum feeling. Brainsick loves a joke that's warm and a little sad at once — you smile first, relate second, reach for the kettle third.
Who it's for
The soft overthinkers. The tea-as-therapy crowd. Anyone whose coping mechanism is a warm drink and pretending everything's fine. If your anxiety has a cosy aesthetic, meet your cup.
How to wear it
Comfort-forward, obviously. Oversized over your softest jeans is peak stay-in energy; five gentle colourways. Heavyweight cotton that feels like a hug you can leave the house in.

Okay, but is it a good t-shirt?
A funny tee that dies in three washes is just sad laundry. So Anxietea is built on the same base as everything we make: 240 GSM super-combed cotton, heavyweight and oversized so it drapes instead of clinging, with a crack-resistant print that outlives the joke. The full breakdown: what 240 GSM actually means.
