He was a humble starter Pokémon. He is now something far more dangerous: confident. Meet Charmander — done with the beginner arc, tail lit, eyebrows up, fully committed to the flirt.
The joke, decoded
Charmander literally has a flame on his tail, so "he is on fire" was always right there. Add a raised eyebrow and a suspicious amount of charm, and the wholesome starter becomes the smoothest lizard in the game.

It is charm dialed to eleven — self-aware, a little cheesy, and having a great time. The tee for anyone whose personality upgraded from shy to shameless and never looked back.
Why confidence is the whole aesthetic
The glow-up from awkward to assured is one of the most satisfying arcs there is, and we love watching (and wearing) it. Charmander captures that shift into main-character confidence — cheeky, warm, and just self-aware enough to be charming rather than cringe.
