Design Stories — Nº 03 · 3 min read
Sixty-five million years of evolution and the apex predator's biggest daily struggle was still reaching things. Meet TEE-REX — the dinosaur who couldn't clap, couldn't do a push-up, but finally found the one thing those tiny arms are perfect for: rocking a tee.
The joke, decoded
T-Rex → Tee-Rex. The pun is right there, and we deeply respect a joke that does its own heavy lifting. The design leans all the way into the internet's favourite dino bit — the tragically short arms — and, for once, gives the little guy a win.
He can't reach the door handle. But he can absolutely wear an oversized tee.
That's the whole gag: an ancient, terrifying predator, humbled by cardio and cursed by his own proportions, who has quietly made peace with it and found his lane. Fashion. It's dumb, it's kind, and it's exactly the kind of joke you want to show someone immediately.
Why dumb puns are secretly elite
We are living through a golden age of the dad joke. The groan is the point — a good pun isn't laughed at, it's forwarded, screenshotted, sent to the group chat with zero context. In a feed full of try-hard irony, a wholesome, well-built pun is weirdly refreshing. It just needs you to exhale through your nose and roll your eyes affectionately.
"Still can't clap. Look incredible though."

Peak Brainsick energy: dumb on the surface, oddly delightful the longer you look. We're not trying to be clever here — we're trying to make you smile against your will and then want to inflict that smile on a friend. The best jokes travel, and TEE-REX is built to be passed around.
Who it's for
The pun enjoyers. The class clowns. The ones who reply to a serious moment with the worst possible joke and zero shame. Wearing TEE-REX announces "I will make that joke, and then I will make it again" — and honestly, that's a great personality to advertise.
How to wear it
This one's a mood-lifter, so treat it casual. The oversized fit over jeans or joggers is easy, and the 240 GSM weight keeps it looking intentional rather than slouchy. Great in Void Black or Rage Red when you want the joke to be the loudest thing you're wearing.

Okay, but is it a good t-shirt?
A funny tee that dies in three washes is just sad laundry. So TEE-REX is built on the same base as everything we make: 240 GSM super-combed cotton, heavyweight and oversized so it drapes instead of clinging, with a crack-resistant print that outlives the joke. The full breakdown: what 240 GSM actually means.
